THIS INSTITUTION IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY PROVIDER

IMPORTANT: New Pantry Policies

Please Read Before Booking an Appointment

The Argentine Nazarene Pantry is committed to serving our community with compassion and efficiency. Our food pantry is a vital resource for many of our neighbors in need. However, with the increasing volume of requests for food assistance, we have observed a growing trend of missed appointments. To address this and ensure that we can help as many people as possible, we are introducing a new policy regarding appointment no-shows.

POLICY REGARDING MAKING APPOINTMENTS

You are only allowed to book one appointment at a time. If multiple appointments are made, your earliest appointment will be kept. Later appointments will be cancelled. You may make an additional appointment after your current scheduled visit.

NEW POLICY FOR NO-SHOWS

Effective immediately, if a neighbor-client misses two appointments without canceling them in advance, they will be unable to schedule a new appointment for three months. This policy is essential to manage our resources effectively and extend our support to those who need it most.

NEW POLICY FOR LATE ARRIVALS

Anyone arriving after their 15-minute appointment is half over will unfortunately need to reschedule.  Please arrive on-time and come to the pantry entrance at your scheduled time.

WHY THIS POLICY?

When an appointment is missed without prior notice, it can lead to wastage of food prepared for that slot but also denies another neighbor the opportunity to receive the assistance they need. By implementing this policy, we aim to reduce the number of missed appointments, thereby maximizing our ability to serve the community efficiently.

HOW TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT

We understand that plans can change, and we are here to accommodate such changes. If you need to cancel your food pantry appointment, simply click on the link in your text message or call our offices as soon as possible.
