We are a local food pantry, serving Argentine Township and the eight townships surrounding Argentine: Gaines, Mundy, Fenton, Tyrone, Deerfield, Cohoctah, Burns and Vernon
THIS INSTITUTION IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY PROVIDER
The Argentine Nazarene Pantry has always been committed to serving our community with compassion and efficiency. Our food pantry is a vital resource for many of our neighbors in need. However, with the increasing volume of requests for food assistance, we have observed a growing trend of missed appointments. To address this and ensure that we can help as many people as possible, we are introducing a new policy regarding appointment no-shows.
New Policy for No-Shows
Effective immediately, if a neighbor-client misses two appointments without canceling them in advance, they will be unable to schedule a new appointment for three months. This policy is essential to manage our resources effectively and extend our support to those who need it most.
New Policy for Late Arrivals
Anyone arriving after their 15-minute appointment is half over will unfortunately need to reschedule. Please arrive on-time and come to the pantry entrance at your scheduled time.
Why This Policy?
Our food pantry operates on the principle of maximum utilization of resources. When an appointment is missed without prior notice, it not only leads to wastage of food prepared for that slot but also denies another neighbor the opportunity to receive the assistance they need. By implementing this policy, we aim to reduce the number of missed appointments, thereby maximizing our ability to serve the community efficiently.
How to Cancel an Appointment
We understand that plans can change, and we are here to accommodate such changes. If you need to cancel your food pantry appointment, simply call our offices. This small step can make a big difference in the lives of others waiting for assistance.
Our Commitment to the Community
At the Argentine Nazarene Pantry, we are dedicated to serving our community with the utmost respect and efficiency. This new policy is not just about reducing no-shows; it’s about fairness and the responsible management of the resources entrusted to us. It’s about ensuring that we can provide the best possible service to our community.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation with this new policy. Remember, a quick call to cancel your appointment can open up opportunities for another neighbor in need. Together, we can make sure that our food pantry serves as many people as possible in the most effective way. Thank you for being a part of our mission to nourish and support our community.
