Howdy, partners! Welcome to Wonder Junction! There’s no greater joy than to praise the name of the Lord all day long. But how can yer kids do that if they don’t know who Jesus is or what he’s done for them? Here at Wonder Junction, we marvel at Jesus and live for his glory.
So grab your bandana and dust off your boots! We are headed west to Wonder Junction where kids will discover the wonder of who Jesus is. They'll marvel at the Creator of the universe who came to earth as a tiny baby and was laid in a feeding trough for animals, who grew up and began his ministry of healing people and demonstrating his power as God the Son, who gave his life in payment for sin, who conquered death, and who will return one day in power and glory. They will be encouraged to embrace the salvation Jesus offers and challenged to live for his glory as we wait for his return.
As you may’ve guessed, Wonder Junction is an Old West themed VBS adventure that will teach kids about who Jesus is as they marvel at his birth, his childhood, his ministry, his death and resurrection, and his coming return. It’s all about Jesus and the call for kids to live for his glory.
Kids will find answers to the questions:
► What amazing events surrounded the King’s birth?
► Was there ever a person born who was more important than Jesus?
► What was Jesus like as a child?
► Is Jesus God or man—or both?
► What astonishing things occurred during Jesus’ ministry and how much power does he have?
► How was Jesus’ death and resurrection like no other?
► Could Jesus experience pain and sadness?
► What should we be doing while we wait for the King to return?
► Is Jesus going to be a man forever?
It’s all about Jesus and the call for kids to live for his glory.
𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗦: 𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱 -𝘁𝗼- 𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 (𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱). We do welcome mature 4 year olds to VBS, but a parent must accompany them throughout the experience. While the program is for mature 4's to 6th grade, we do have a few moms who come their with 0-3 year olds in strollers and watch their older kids. If there is a need, we will try to staff our nursery.
